Ingredients<\/div>\n

  • 1\/2 kg ground beef<\/li>\n
  • 1\/2 cup onion, finely chopped<\/li>\n
  • 2 tablespoons parsley finely cut<\/li>\n
  • 3 tablespoons ground coriander<\/li>\n
  • 1\/2 teaspoon oregano<\/li>\n
  • 1\/2 teaspoon garlic powder<\/li>\n
  • 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs<\/li>\n
  • salt<\/li>\n
  • pepper<\/li>\n
  • 1 kg diced tomatoes<\/li>\n
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste (for the intense colour)<\/li>\n
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n
  • 1 medium onion, diced<\/li>\n
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped<\/li>\n
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano<\/li>\n
  • 1 teaspoon sugar<\/li>\n
  • salt and pepper to taste<\/li>\n
  • extra virgin olive oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

    1. Mix all the ingredients in a large ball and form medium meatballs.<\/li>\n
    2. Prepare the tomato sauce: heat in a medium saucepan, the olive oil and saut\u00e9 onions and garlic for 2-3 minutes over medium heat. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper and sugar. Add the fresh basil and let it come to a boil and then lower the heat and boil for 10 minutes, add the oregano.<\/li>\n
    3. Cook on lower heat for 35-45 minutes.<\/li>\n
    4. Place the meatballs to boil inside the tomato sauce and cook for 15 more minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
