I presume that all of us know the ouzo flavour…Fennel has almost the same aromas. The combination of fennel and roasted red pepper is really interesting.

1 1/2 cups strained yoghurt
1/2 cup melted margarine
2 cups all purpose flour
1 bunch of fresh fennel, finelly chopped
2 roasted red peppers
1 onions, finelly cut
some olive oil
salt (optional)

1. Mix in medium bowl all ingredients to create a smooth dough.
2. Place the dough in a medium greased baking tray, i usually use my muffin tray, and bake them in a preheated oven (200C) for 1/2 hour or so.
3. If you use a large baking tray,  adjust the baking time accordingly and when the bread is ready,  cut it into equal square portions while it is still hot.
