So this Friday prepare your salted caramel pop corn and play on the DVD player your favourite movie!!!
1. Combine butter, sugar and honey or maple syrup in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, for 5 to 7 minutes or until sugar has dissolved. Bring mixture to the boil. Boil, uncovered, without stirring, for 5 to 8 minutes or until light golden.
2. Remove from heat. Pour the caramel mixture over popcorn and stir until popcorn is coated. Set aside to cool and enjoy!!!
3. You can add a more rich taste by adding a cup of roughly chopped pecans or cashews or peanuts
(I believe that peanuts taste better than cashews in this recipe)
