Trip2taste and Kir-Yianni joined forces for the promotion of wine tourism in Naoussa, the land of the famous Xinomavro variety, one of the four ambassador varieties of Greek Wine. Τhe well known winemaker and owner of Kir-Yanni, Stelios Boutaris, stated: “We believe Trip2taste is the most specialized gastronomy partner that can help us develop, manage and promote the new visiting center of Kir-Yianni estate as one of the best gastronomic tourist attractions of Northern Greece”. Marina Boutari, founder and Managing Director of Trip2taste said: “I am very excited about this wine-tourism consulting project for three different reasons: firstly because I will work with me beloved cousin Stelios, and the dynamic team of Kir-Yanni, secondly because we will have the opportunity and joy of designing the new visiting center of Kir-Yianni from scratch, a job that I like a lot and have great experience, and thirdly because I will be working at a vineyard that I have numerous beautiful childhood memories!”

The new Visiting Center of Kir Yianni will open in Spring 2016. Until then a number of events will be organized to attract wine lovers at the beautiful terrace of Kir-Yianni in Yianakohori. The first event took place on Sunday November 8th 2015 in honor of the “European Day of Wine Tourism” that is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of November. Participants had the opportunity to play a “Wine & Cheese Tasting Game” with 6 premium wines of Kir-Yianni alongside with a selection of great cheeses from all over Greece and handmade chutneys from Chefstories.
